GEN ACTS RENUEVA SU ASOCIACIÓN CON ACAPAN

In February this year, Gen ACTS renewed its partnership contract with ACAPAN. We will continue the joint education project for kids below 5 years old from the PRONOEI “Gotitas del Saber”, a shanty town in Huaycan.

En febrero de este año, Gen ACTS renovó su trabajo en asociación con ACAPAN. Continuaremos juntando nuestros proyectos educativos para los niños menores de 5 años de edad del PRONOEI “Gotitas del Saber”, en el asentamiento humano de Huaycan.
We look forward to working towards the betterment of education for pre-schoolers in Huaycan.

No podemos esperar más y queremos seguir trabajando en el mejoramiento de la educación de los infantes de Huaycan.

EVENTO DE CLAUSURA: "Olimpiadas KIDS ALIVE!"

On Saturday, November 28th , We concluded our 2009 ImpACTS and Hope for Kids programs.
El sábado 28 de noviembre, concluímos nuestros programas ImpACTS y Hope for Kids 2009.

In 2009, our kids followed a curriculum guided by learning objectives which sistematically facilitated their learning.
En el 2009, nuestros niños siguieron un curriculum por objetivos el cual en forma sistemática facilitó su aprendizaje.

In parallel, the instilling of values in our kids was being emphasized through our code of conduct and “Chat & Discovery Time”.
En simultáneo, el fomento de valores en nuestros niños fue siempre remarcado a través de nuestro código de conducta y nuestro “Chat & Discovery Time”.
At the last event of the year, we organized our very first “KA! Olympics” in which the best teams and cheers would be selected and rewarded.
En el último evento del año, organizamos nuestra primera “Olimpiada KA!” en la cual los mejores equipos y barras serían seleccionadas y premiadas.

After our Olympics held in the park, our kids were brought back to our club-house for a special time of reward presentation in the presence of the volunteer teachers and parents.
Despues que nuestras Olimpiadas tuvieran lugar en un parquet, nuestros niños regresaron a nuestra casa-club para un tiempo especial de premiación con la presencia de sus profesores voluntarios y de sus padres.
The first place is a tie!!!...Claps for “Los Rápidos y Furiosos” and for “Los Champions”.
El primer lugar es un empate…Aplausos para “Los Rápidos y Furiosos” y para “Los Champions”.
And the second place goes to ….”Los Intrépidos”.
Y el Segundo lugar va para….”Los intrépidos”.

We also rewarded our best students in the overall performance of English, attitude & behaviour.
También premiamos a nuestros mejores estudiantes en todo su rendimiento de Inglés, actitud y comportamiento.

We were also pleasantly surprised by the visit of 2 former volunteers: Richard and Paola.

and we also want to appreciate with special thanks to Miss Koh Yun, a teacher from Singapore, who had conducted practical and useful training workshops for our team of volunteers during her 2-month stint.
Y tambien queremos dar un especial agradecimiento a la Srta. Koh Yun, una profesora de Singapur, quien ha conducido talleres de entrenamiento muy prácticos y útiles para nuestro equipo de voluntarios durante sus 2 meses de estadía.
